Halal Certification Schemes
Whether you produce food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, or run a logistics operation, DHCE has an internationally recognised halal certification scheme designed for your business.
Choose the Right Scheme for Your Business
DHCE offers halal certification across six product and service categories. Each scheme is designed to meet the specific compliance requirements of that sector — ensuring your certificate is credible, defensible, and globally recognised.
Food Products
Covers all food and beverage manufacturing, including ingredients, processing, packaging, and contamination controls. Applies to FMCG manufacturers, food processors, ingredient suppliers, abattoirs, and dairy producers.
Cosmetics
Certifies skincare, makeup, haircare, and personal care products. Verifies that raw materials, formulations, and production processes are free from prohibited animal derivatives and non-compliant alcohol-based ingredients.
Pharmaceuticals
Covers medicinal products, supplements, vaccines, OTC products, and pharmaceutical ingredients. Verifies gelatin sources, production line integrity, and contamination controls against halal standards.
Non-Food Items
Applies to materials used in halal production lines, including lubricants, filters, cleaning agents, packaging, and processing aids. This certification ensures these inputs do not compromise the halal integrity of the final product.
Animal Feed
Certifies feed products, supplements, and additives used in halal livestock and poultry farming. Ensures the entire halal husbandry chain remains compliant, from feed through to slaughter and processing.
Services
Covers logistics, transport, storage, catering, cleaning, and Islamic financial services. Certifies that service operations are conducted in accordance with halal principles from end to end.
Full Scopes of Certification
DHCE’s certification scope follows the internationally recognised GSO 2055-2:2021 classification standard. These codes define the precise category of activity your business operates in and will appear on your official DHCE halal certificate.
