Certification

Verify Halal Certificates

Every DHCE halal certificate is issued with a unique certificate number and a QR code linked to our Certificate Register. Use this page to confirm the authenticity of any DHCE certificate instantly.

How It Works

Instant Certificate Verification

1

Locate the QR Code or Certificate Number

Every genuine DHCE certificate carries a unique certificate number and a QR code printed directly on the document.

2

Scan the QR Code

Use your smartphone camera or a QR code scanning app to scan the code. This will link directly to the certificate entry in the DHCE Certificate Register.

3

Confirm Authenticity

If the certificate is genuine, the register will display the corresponding certificate details. If no record is found, the certificate may not be authentic.

Cannot find the certificate? If you scan a QR code or search a certificate number and no record appears in our register, the certificate is likely not genuine. Please contact DHCE immediately so we can investigate.

Certificate Holders

Rules for Use of DHCE Halal Certificates

All businesses holding a DHCE halal certificate must comply with the following rules governing the use and display of certificates and the DHCE halal mark. These rules are part of your certification agreement.

The rightful owner of the halal certificate is DHCE at all times. The certificate must be returned to DHCE as and when deemed necessary.

The certificate holder must continue to fulfil all certification requirements set by DHCE to maintain their halal certification, including implementing changes communicated by DHCE.

If copies of certification documents are provided to third parties, the documents must be reproduced in their entirety and not in part.

Any reference to DHCE certification in marketing materials, brochures, or advertising must be submitted to DHCE for review prior to publication.

Incorrect references to the certification scheme, or misleading use of certificates, marks, or licences, must be avoided in all documentation and communications.

The display of licences, halal certificates, and halal marks of conformity must be prominent, accurate, and used only in their approved form and in entirety.

Certificate holders who fail to renew their halal certificates will not be permitted to continue using the DHCE halal mark on their premises, products, or marketing materials.

The halal certificate must not be reproduced in part or in any way that would reduce its legibility. Certificates must not be tampered with, altered, or translated without the written consent of DHCE.

Upon suspension, withdrawal, or termination of certification, the certificate holder must immediately discontinue all use of the certificate and halal mark and return all certification documents to DHCE.

Found a Certificate That Cannot Be Verified?

If you scan a QR code or search a certificate number and cannot find a matching record in our register, please contact DHCE immediately. We take certificate fraud seriously and will investigate all reports promptly.
